The VIP will assist the radar in providing an independent estimate of ground speed, which will essentially cure shadowing and batching.
The Vehicle Interface Portal Features:
- Easy "plug-n-play" installation with velcro
- Vehicle-independent through the diagnostic port inside the car
- Compatible with Genesis I™, Genesis II Select™ and Genesis II Directional™
- Genesis radar accepts patrol speed information through communication port
- Genesis radar automatically detects the VIP module and performs accordingly
- The VIP works in all cars made after 1996
